When cutting very hard workpieces (iron), the toothing wears off. To achieve good bonding of the paper pulp, which at the same time influences the strength and density of the paper, 2 g of Cellcoll per liter of water can be added to the mixture. It is advantageous if the wallpaper paste is stirred into the pulp at the same time as the potato starch, since it also has to pre-react (swell) for approx. 20 minutes.
