Koh-I-Noor has been producing graphite pencils since 1790, and the 1900 series artist's pencil is part of this tradition. The semi-gloss black lacquer finish emphasizes the pencil's characteristic look. A special feature is the twenty available degrees of hardness.
What degrees of hardness are available?
The range extends from 8B (very soft) to 10 H (very hard). The hardnesses 10 H to 2 B have a lead diameter of 2 mm, the leads of the softer pencils from 3B to 8B have a diameter of 2.5 mm.
