Woodstone is a high quality wood-like relief and figure casting compound based on an aqueous acrylic dispersion. It consists of the liquid acrylic resin and a powdered mineral crystal. Woodstone is completely odorless, does not stick. Material residues can be removed from tools and hands with water. After demolding, the raw parts can still be mechanically re-carved for up to 4 hours. In addition to sawing, drilling, milling and turning, filing and grinding are also possible. After that, the material hardens and becomes rock hard.

Application instructions:

1 part acrylic resin and 2.5 parts mineral powder. The finished mixture is bubble-free and can be poured immediately into the relief and figure molds provided (latex and silicone molds). The material hardens in the open top relief molds within a short time, but requires twice the curing time for closed figure molds. ( Woodstone requires oxygen for hardening, which in figure molds usually reaches the material only through the small pouring opening, therefore requires a longer hardening time). Woodstone is used for making architectural models, rough molds, fine ornamental parts for model making (fences, doors, etc.), doll and puppet heads, figurines, tool handles, reliefs, models, figures and lamp bases. Due to its fineness and accuracy in structure rendering, it is also used for making house elements in model making. In order to stabilize the thin walls, which are often only 2 - 3 mm thick, Woodstone is additionally mixed with glass fiber chips so that a laminate is formed during casting. Woodstone can also be mixed with other fillers, such as Micro - Air (lightweight filler), textile fibers, wood flours, quartz sand, etc.
