By intensive soaking of textiles in the fabric impregnation strengthener, the subsequent wringing out and renewed soaking, the fibers of these fabrics soak up with it, stick together and strengthen succ. in the course of drying. This makes it possible to shape and drape the prepared fabrics as desired after a pre-reaction time of 1-2 hours. The fabric then already exhibits the required stiffness, which is comparable to a thin metal sheet. It thus remains dimensionally stable and true to shape, then hardens within a further 7-8 hours, becoming firm and very hard.

In addition, it is possible to color the fabric impregnation strengthener used for this purpose with water-soluble pigments beforehand, so that colored or multicolored decorative parts can also be produced with it. When dry, the finished sculptures or draperies can be used both indoors and outdoors, as they are waterproof, weatherproof and weather-resistant. Moreover, they can be painted over and decorated with additional effect materials.
