Metal primer:

The metal primer mixed with fine powdered semi-precious metal is applied thinly to the substrate with a soft brush and must dry for about 10 - 15 minutes. This is followed by a second coat, which produces an evenly covering coating.

Exception: on finely textured surfaces (smallest components, textured surfaces, etc.) only a single, thin metal primer coat should be applied so that the surface structure remains fully visible.

When applied to substrates made of glass, aluminum, iron and plastic, the substrate should be pretreated with Universal-Haftgrund (Order No. 530-7180156). It is also recommended to use this primer on absorbent substrates. These include, for example, wood, raw ceramics, plaster or wall plaster. The primer prevents the oxidizing agent applied later from being absorbed by the substrate and thus from developing its effect.

After a drying time of about 60 - 80 minutes, the application of the oxidation medium can be started. The method of application - brushing, spraying or dabbing - can influence the subsequent oxidation pattern.
