Very well suited for cutting free in thick styrofoam plates for diorama model railroad construction.

Other areas of use: Architectural model making, prototyping, for designers and decorators. For fine work on construction insulation. And of course for classic model making. No "crumbling" as when working with knife and sandpaper!

Sturdy bracket with swiveling fastening element at the top and extendable lower wire fastening. Thus max. total projection of 200 mm. Maximum height passage 150 mm. Cutting wire temperature infinitely variable: Depending on material density and thickness, an optimum cutting pattern can be achieved with a little practice. Mostly at medium temperature and moderate pressure. Heating time only 1 second! Complete with five deformable cutting wires 285 x 0.85 mm.
