What are the properties of aircraft plywood?

Finnish birch plywood meets the highest requirements. With a weight of approx. 700 kg/m³ it is the heaviest of our plywoods. With up to 12 layers, unique stability is achieved. Our Finnish birch plywood is Tegofilm-bonded and thus protected against moisture (but not waterproof).

What does quality B/B mean?

Center peeled birch furniture veneers with characteristic features. Stronger discolorations, deviations in the fiber structure and sound knots are allowed here. Several knotholes up to 8 mm in diameter, small cracks and black knots with a diameter of approx. 5 mm and black mineral influences are also permissible. This veneer is particularly suitable as face veneer for decorative applications in model making, furniture making, musical instruments and lampshades where the technical application is in the foreground.
