Red Cedar wood stands out due to its red-brownish color (strong variations are possible) and straight grain. It is also very easy to work with and is very durable despite its low weight. The acidity of the wood makes it resistant to pests, but can also cause iron nails to rust. The use of galvanized nails is advisable.
